The Great Comet of 2007
2007.01.18. On the following night it was obvious that the huge tail was lifting up as the comet continued to round the sun. The whole tail was at its brightest on this night. It was a shame about the clouds. That january was the worst for clouds in the past 84 years! Photo by Ian Cooper at the Stardate site on the Tukituki River near Hastings. 50mm lens at f/2.8, 45 seconds on Fuji P800 film.
